This morning I took Sopressa and her cria Buttercup to
Crater Animal Clinic where Dr Tara Timpson drew blood to run the PCR test for BVDV. You may recall that Sopressa and Buttercup have both been in isolation for the last two weeks since returning from
Derwydd.
It was announced today that a BVDV test would be required at the
Futurity Show and Sale in Louisville.
We drew enough blood to run a chemistry panel on Sopressa and complete an ARI registration card for Buttercup.
The afternoon was spent doing a series of chores including trying to get the automatic gate working again. The suppliers replaced the circuit board under warranty this morning but it still doesn't work. I am not surprised to hear that the contractor who installed the gate has since gone out of business.
