This morning while we were still talking through what was happening on our web site we discovered that the query form on our alpacas for sale section wasn't working ! So basically for the last few months anyone who has sent a query from the sales section of our web site has probably felt ignored...because we never received it! Its just amazing how a small mistake in the software can create such a huge problem. Just like have a great store full of wonderful goods for sale and no one ever comes in.....then one day you discover why.. the front door to the store has been locked.....

Anyway the problem is fixed and the queries are starting to come through almost straight away which is a huge relief all round. We have e-mailed everyone we can think of to apologise and ask them to resend their question or comment.

Back in the real world the irrigation wheel failed again and if I say I was still out working on it at 8pm you will get the picture!. If anyone else suffers problems with the KIFCO water reel, please drop me line because I do have some solutions and the wheel is now working once again.

The little chicks are now old enough to move in with the older hens so we put them in this afternoon and they appear to have settled down quite well but we will keep an eye on things tomorrow.

In the afternoon we started to prepare for shearing by labelling all the bags for each alpaca that will be shorn. The usual thing one for the saddle, one for the seconds , one for the scrap and a small bag for the sample that will be sent off for analysis.

We bought in a fresh bottle of CD and T so we can give shots while shearing.
