We still haven't filed accounts for 2005 so I spent part of the day getting together the final few invoices and other documents that the accountant needs. You would imagine that filing accounts with the revenue authorities would be the same the world over. But here in Oregon there is no sales tax so the emphasis is all on bank statements. Whereas in the UK with 17.5% sales tax the emphasis is on receipts so that the sales tax (and credits) can be reconciled.
In the afternoon we put the final preparations in place for the alpaca shearing which is tomorrow.
So with that thought in mind its time for an early night!
