Today was the day of our May Madness Alpaca Sale; a day where we reduced the price of the alpacas for one day and one day only.
We had never done this before and we kept the date of the sale a secret. But knew from our web statistics that there was a steady group of buyers coming to the site each day to see if the May Madness Sale had started.
The first female alpaca was sold within minutes of announcing the start of our May Madness Alpaca sale. That was a very fast and exciting start although not totally unexpected as the buyer had requested a fleece sample only the week before when we announced there would be a sale.

3 other alpacas are under offer and we are in the process of sending out fleece samples and detailed pictures to help ensure the buyers are well informed before making a commitment.

Today was also Mothers Day in the USA. We bought Jo a bee keeping outfit to protect her from the bees, I think she was pleased!
