Having rained all day Sunday (yesterday) it is now trying to snow and while it is too warm in the valley all the surrounding hills and mountains are now snow capped and look beautiful.
Mac the farm help phoned in to say his car is broken (fuel pump) so he wont be in today....
Called the Hay Analysis lab and they agreed to retest the sample and get me the results later today....as it turned out they slipped the retest until the end of the day so no results now until Tuesday.
This is so frustrating and the first and last time I will be using this particular lab.
Assuming the results are correct I have sent e-mails to Dr David Andersen at Ohio and Dr Norm Evans. Dean Otten a fellow breeder will contact Dr Pat Long at OSU tomorrow and see what he has to say on the issue. We really need to get this tidied up as soon as possible.
Just checked and we have had over 5 inches of rain since Friday. Bearing in mind we only get around 20+ inches each year this is pretty amazing!
Angus (12) comes home from school and tells me tomorrow may be a snow day! I hope not!
