Just as the sun shone yesterday today it is raining.
To keep reasonably dry Mac and I worked inside on the calssroom and completed the wall panels. The classroom now looks more comfortable and welcoming and a little less like the end of the alpaca barn - which it is.
The rain kept coming so we postponed the alpaca herd worming until tomorrow when the forecast is for warmer weather.
Some time ago Mike Safely of
Northwest Alpacas asked me to be editor of an elctronic newsletter for the
Ideal Alpaca Community, which in a rash of enthusiasm I accepted. Today I am e-mailing several hundred alpaca breeders to encourage them to submit articles for inclusion in the Newsletter and to sign up for the Newsletter itself. These e-mail campaigns are always a shot in the dark so it will be interesting to see what response we get tomorrow.
