Now that we are in the midst of a very warm spring ( I just know it won't last) there is nothing better than eating outside whether you have two legs or four legs.

So my daughter insisted the alpacas eat out tonight and not in the alpaca barn as usual.

As I explained to her friend when the alpacas eat Alfresco it isn't like alpacas eating Alfalfa, its a phrase for eating outside.

Of course with the power of the Internet at her finger tips it wasn't two minutes before she was correcting me and telling me that "to be specific alfresco is Italian in origin and means to eat in a cool place......so in fact when the alpacas were eating in the barn they were eating alfresco and now they aren't......."

Kids and the Internet its a fatal combination.....

My only retort was to say that when I worked in a real job I was often so busy I would eat my lunch "Al Desko"



Out of interest I am going to tell you that the alpaca picture above is picture 599 on this alpaca Blog...how time flies when you are having fun! I must try and make picture 600 something special.......

Its now 6pm and 78 degrees and once again the only thing between me and a cool drink is the posting of this article onto the alpaca Blog.
