Alpaca farming sure generates plenty of paperwork and today I was trying to scale part of what we joking call Mount Paperwork.
We have about 4 ARI registrations outstanding, a Wilkins Insurance renewal notice and oh well you can guess the rest I am sure.
I am delighted to say that the number of farm visits has been fairly steady recently and we are currently enjoying about 2 or 3 visits each week at the moment and about half of these are resulting in sales of alpacas. Once again demand exceeds supply by quite a margin and we getting very low on alpacas at the moment.
A few people have been interested in fiber boys and we will be castrating another male this week and halter training two alpaca boys before they go to a new home.
Everything on the farm is looking pretty good at the moment and all the equipment is functioning as expected....lets hope its not just a lull before the storm...so to speak.
Well duty calls and I have to go collect the mail and add it to Mount Paperwork.....and so it goes.
