Yesterday evening Jo and I took on the challenge of creating a web site over night.... I can already hear you saying why? Why would you do that?
Basically as I mentioned yesterday a local farmer has filed a measure 37 claim against the state. He wants to develop about 200 new homes on his farm everybody and I mean everybody is against this claim. So in order to spread the word far and wide we created
www.ashlandacres.org
Now this site isn't going to win any awards but it is functional and will greatly accelerate the number of people who will write in to the state and protest the Measure 37 claim. So time will tell.
Meanwhile on the alpaca farm the temperature is in the high 80's and all the alpacas are sunbathing.
The delivery of the two fibre boys to their new home has been scheduled for the week commencing the 9th of July.
I also need to take Navidad up to NWA for a breeding sometime soon just not sure when exactly...how the months roll by.
The grass is growing fast at the moment and every day we are topping one of the alpaca pastures in order to keep the grass in its growth phase and as it happens the alpacas like the short fresh grass.....must be like asparagus I guess.
Well I better get cracking on my alpaca article for the UK magazine.....which is due shortly...time waits for no man, as you know.
