I can hardly believe its Thursday already and time to put the trash out once again....
We are on baby watch right now for Latte who is due on the 22nd of this month so plenty of time yet but always useful to keep an eye on pregnant females as it gets close to the due date.
Latte is the only female we didn't breed with a Studmaster last year but instead bred her to one of our own males, Conman so its going to be very interesting to see what they produce between them.
Studmasters that are part of the IAC (Ideal Alpaca Community) form the very foundation of our breeding programme, but we also like to experiment with our superior males and see what happens.
The first part of the day was spent repairing the irrigation system...the facts are I have stripped that system down so many times I can do it more quickly than the service reps can.
I am not sure if that is anything to brag about really.... I would expect the water reel to be somewhat more resilient than it has been.
Anyway its up and running now so all is well that ends well.
The rest of the day will be spent on the PC getting the web site updated and checking the results of a survey we are running with some AOBA sales leads from June of this year. What I can say is that so far those who have responded have indicated that they are expecting to buy pregnant females for less than $10k. Which is quite a bit lower than I had expected.
