It is very quiet on the farm at this time of year. I spent most of the day sat at my PC doing web marketing stuff. One e-mail really caught my attention.
Mike Safley at Northwest Alpacas is planning to hold some web based seminars or webinars as they are sometimes called.

Before doing this Mike did some research into what topics alpaca breeders would be interested in hearing about. Here are his results:

I have to say I was surprised to see that Marketing and Genetics were the top two topics as picked from Mikes list. When asked what else might interest folks Fibre obviously came out as another area of great interest.

I haven't put the data up here but the other item which caught my attention was that Saturday night was by far the most popular time for people to participate in a webinar.

You live and you learn...and as my uncle used to say...no point getting old if you don't get wiser....
