Its hard to believe another year is over, our first full calendar year in the USA as alpaca breeders.
The year ahead will no doubt be just as unpredictable and exciting as the last?. I hope!
This will be my last year as President of SOJAA (State of Jefferson Alpaca Association) there is plenty to do in my final year, not least the organisation of a breed type conference with some of the other local AOBA affiliates. SOJAA also has a great conference on March 11th details are on the SOJAA web site. Then on Columbus weekend we have the annual SOJAA alpaca show - AlpacaMania.

The auction season gets underway very soon with the Snowmass Alpacas, Making of Champions Private Selection Sale. The auction takes place at the Corona Ranch in sunny Phoenix, Arizona and is hosted by Don and Julie Skinner and Diane and Kim Otis. Pundits are already talking up the prices?.

This year also sees my involvement with the Ideal Alpaca Community take a step forward when I become editor of the IAC on-line newsletter.
