The forecast is for severe winds so we are trying to batten down the hatches in order to minimise any damage.



The alpacas do not appear to find the barn attractive even when its raining and much prefer to hunker down in an open space than shelter in a barn where the wind is whistling around the eaves all night long.

Of course what falls as rain in the valley falls as snow on the pass and we are expecting up to six feet of snow on the pass in the next few days which must be some kind of record for this part of the world.
