I receive a last minute request from Hobby Farms Magazine to edit an article they have written about alpacas for their next issue. Its pretty much spot on and only a few points need correcting.

Some of the other points could be argued but that would be splitting hairs. The Hobby Farms Magazine subscription list is pretty big, with over 50,000 regular readers some of them already breeding alpacas and others thinking about it.

Which reminds me I must set aside some time to complete an article I am writing on How to Buy an Alpaca... a pocket guide and checklist. Dr Timpson our local camelid specialist is going to co-author the pocket guide. It was originally commissioned by Hobby Farm Magazine for their new alpaca magazine which has since been shelved as a project.
